astrology as an incredible parenting tool
April 25, 2026
Whoa, this is an important one. As a single parent, and someone without a lot of kid experience prior to becoming a parent, I had to learn as I went as a parent. Many of us do in some way. But here’s why for me, astrology is the ultimate tool for parenting insight.
So often, kids do things that we just don’t understand. Sometimes, the things they do even seem contradictory to their environment, their upbringing, and their family. For example, a child (we won’t admit that this may be my own son) who grows up in a home that is non-violent, no spanking, etc. and the stance in the home has been one of not participating or condoning, but neither condemning other ways of living outside of side-eye for hitting, ie what used to be called spanking children. The boy’s mother made toy guns off limits during his toddler years. But the child had other plans. The boy mirrored his non-violent environment in many ways, but weapons of all kinds were of extreme interest. The mother couldn’t understand where the interest came from, until of course, she was enlightened through learning to read his birth chart. The child was meant to, in his bones, experience all things justice, law, government and military. He was built to understand these matters intimately, as they will play a vital role in his life as an adult. Perhaps he’s a future secret serviceman or a police detective. This can be seen and thus give the parent an understanding of the child’s inherent nature. Are they a truth teller or a trickster? Are they inclined to marry and have children or might they be lgbtq? Why do they have that phobia of spiders? Why do they have to negotiate everything, or why does their anger flare so intensely over minor issues? The nature can be seen and thus integrated into the parent’s understanding of their child, closening the relationship. Without this comprehension of the child’s deeper nature, a parent can misunderstand and even at times judge the child, their own parenting, or both. But with astrological appreciation of the son, suddenly his life path begins to take shape and the parent then has the framework for helping to foster success.
If there are untapped talents or careers they may not be inclined towards, it would be fantastic to understand early so that as parents we can focus on providing the kind of support they need to be who they’re destined to become, only they will get there faster and with more confidence if they’re seen, accepted and supported from the beginning. So yes, your kids birth chart is the utlimate tool for parenting and relationships. I could write about this forever so I may pick it back up and provide more of a case. But for now though, it’s time for lunch. Hari Om!
